Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use our website and visit our clinic. Here is what we do and how to tell us about a barrier.
Our commitment
Dr. Dar Eye Care is committed to providing our services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities, in line with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards.
This website
Our goal is for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This goes beyond WCAG 2.0 Level AA, the level named in Ontario's Integrated Accessibility Standards.
We design the website to work with a keyboard, with screen readers and with text enlarged to 200%. If something does not work for you, please tell us.
Information in another format
If you need information from this website or from our clinic in another format, such as large print, or need a communication support, tell us. We will work with you to provide it in a timely way, at no extra cost.
At our clinic
- You are welcome to use your own assistive devices.
- Service animals are welcome.
- You may bring a support person.
- If you need help or extra time during your visit, let us know when you book.
If a service or feature we provide for people with disabilities is temporarily unavailable, we will post a notice on this website and at the clinic with the reason, how long it is expected to last and other options.
Feedback
Tell us about any barrier on our website or at our clinic:
- Call us at (519) 663-9292
- Send us a message through our contact form
- Tell us in person at the clinic
We read all feedback and will reply in the way you prefer, including in an accessible format, to tell you what we will do.
